I sort-of cheated
when I got this Solitaire Score

Best score I've gotten on Microsoft Windows version of Solitaire.
I cheated by making the computer very busy.

In the earliest versions of Windows Solitaire, you could get better bonus scores by keeping the computer very busy. What I did was write a program that kept the computer busy doing mathematical calculations in a DOS window, and assigned it a high priority with the task-switching. I then kept playing solitaire until I got a great bonus score. Because the computer was busy multi-tasking, the clock ran slow in solitaire. I did find out that the computer would not give any bonus score for 29 seconds, so if I almost-won and the clock had not yet reached 30 seconds, I learned to wait until 30 seconds to play the last card. I believe that later versions of Windows or Solitaire may have fixed this problem.
